These are some very awkward uses of quotation marks. Please note that when quotation marks are used in any situation other than to signify a quote, they indicate differing degrees of sarcasm.
Quotation marks should not be used for marking emphasis.
They’re so weird. Whenever I come across one of those, I look at them twice to see if I missed anything. Nope. Just incorrect use of quotation marks.
